Australian Fresh Produce Corporation Biyagama

The project is a mixed-use, commercial development with a novel concept for Sri Lanka, containing 4 cold and dry storage facilities, office spaces, apartments, and an entertainment hall with an upper garden terrace. It is a direct foreign investment that will serve as a hub for importing fresh produce from Australian farms and exporting local fresh produce to Australia without the use of a middleman. It is also intended to accommodate and provide office spaces for Australian farmers who will have direct access to Sri Lankan wholesalers. The building faces the Biyagama main road, while the rear faces the Kelani River. The construction of the total area of 60,000 square feet began in October 2020 and is still ongoing.
