Penthouse at Kandy

The Dynasty Residence is Kandy's first luxury apartment complex. Exceeding 6,000 square feet, this was one of Sri Lanka's largest penthouses at the time, and it was also notable for its expansive roof terrace, which included a garden and a putting green. The scope of the project included renovation and interior design work for the main shareholder of the complex, who resides in the United States. Two apartment interiors, 1800 and 2500 square feet in size, were completed with the intention of renting to expats. Since the owner was living overseas, the architect was in charge of the entire project, including responsibility for maintenance.
